Taking  to heart Noel Coward's dictum always to write 'a whacking good part for herself' Sue Casson was part of the original casts of The Happy Prince, Requiem, Albion Forlorn and Two Tigers.

She was also a notable MD of the long running Newsrevue at the Canal Cafe Theatre.

Her skills as an actor/musician have been gainfully employed in Making History, Betty's Mirror (NTC tour), The Importance of being Earnest (ADG European tour) and The Lights Twinkle Sometimes (Jermyn Street)

As a member of Paul Prescott's resident repertory company at La Bonne Crepe Theatre in Battersea, she appeared in 8 different productions, enjoying the privilege of having parts written especially for her in Someday and Mr Sandman.

Casson Chorus

For the 20th anniversary performances of The Happy Prince, Casson combined singing, magic and piano playing in the role of Chorus.

Sue Casson immediately makes the audience feel that they are in safe hands: her performance is engaging and she has sensibly been tasked with the role of narrating and driving this piece.'
