For 2 years at the Edinburgh Fringe Casson played host at C South for English Cabaret Hour - also popping up al fresco, in tents and guesting at

New Town Cabaret, but always at the piano.  


New songs touched on how to stand out in a crowd, the insinuating appeal of modern music and the mystery of modern construction.

Casson sang a set of Blossom Dearie's tribute songs  in Cabaret Hour '14, which inspired her to pen one of her own ...

It was whilst English Cabaret was in Edinburgh that the story of Nicholas Reeves' new theory about the whereabouts of Queen Nefertiti's tomb broke. As they were with Nick last time he was digging in the Valley of the Kings, Casson writing songs about his quest  - a quick change to our setlist  was called for to bring the show bang up to date!


A year later a whole new show was born...
